Thai Aerospace Industries Co., Ltd. (TAI) has propose to setup one of most ambitious MRO Complex Center project at Central of Thailand. The project scope of work includes the design and construction of 11 aircraft maintenance hangars with clear span of up 180 meter; maintenance, ancillary building and workshop comprising 343,000m2 of built-up area; all electromechanical and special equipment required for a modern automated MRO facility; and corresponding aprons, taxiways and airfield infrastructure works as well as the Aviation Engineering Academy.

Aviation Academy expand to support training for the Airline industry
Thai Aerospace Industries extension is part of the Academy's overall business strategy which is aimed at developing the centre as an independent training provider offering students optimal training conditions, so as to create a basis for successful professional integration. At the same time, the Academy seeks to ensure a comfortable learning environment in which trainees can concentrate on their goals. It also has a strong international outlook as FAA standard, with students from a number of different countries, and endeavours to take full account of cultural diversity. The total investment for the project "TAI International Aeronautical Academy" is $USD 73 million, TAIIAA will be the first professional aviation training organisation in Thailand for pilot training. The project will be developed in partnership with Boeing and International Aviation Academy.
